Alex Hua is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the EzSleep mobile application (the “App”).
By using the App, you consent to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not access or use the App.
To provide and improve our sleep-tracking and sleep-assistance services, we may collect the following types of information:
- Personal Information You Provide: When you register an account, set up a profile, or contact our support, we may collect information such as your email address, name, username, and password.
- Sleep and Health-Related Data (Optional):
- To analyze your sleep patterns and provide insights, we may collect data you input manually, such as sleep logs, bedtime habits, and mood.
- Apple HealthKit Integration: If you grant permission, EzSleep may read or write data (such as sleep duration, heart rate, or active energy) from/to Apple’s Health App via the HealthKit API. We do not use HealthKit data for marketing or advertising purposes, and we do not share this data with third-party advertisers.
- Device and Usage Data: We automatically collect certain information when you access the App, including your device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers (e.g., UUID), IP address, and application usage logs.
- Third-Party SDKs and Services: The App may contain third-party Software Development Kits (SDKs) for analytics or performance monitoring [e.g., Firebase, Apple Analytics - list them if applicable]. These third parties collect information in accordance with their own privacy policies.
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
- To provide, maintain, and personalize EzSleep’s features (such as sleep analysis, white noise playback, and smart alarms).
- To generate personalized sleep reports and actionable sleep-improvement insights.
- To manage your user account, verify subscriptions, and provide customer support.
- To monitor and analyze usage trends to enhance user experience.
- To detect, prevent, and address technical or security issues.
C. Data Retention and Security
- Data Retention: We retain your personal information and sleep logs only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy, or as required by applicable laws and regulations.
- Data Security: We implement industry-standard technical and organizational security measures (including HTTPS encryption and restricted database access) to protect your personal data. However, please be aware that no security system is completely impenetrable.
D. Your Rights and Data Deletion (Account Deletion)
We respect your rights regarding your personal data:
- Access and Rectification: You can view and update your profile information at any time within the App’s settings.
- Account and Data Deletion: You have the right to request the deletion of your account and all associated sleep data. You can delete your account directly inside the App by navigating to
[Settings] -> [Delete Account], or by sending an email request to [Your Contact Email]. Upon receiving your request, we will permanently delete or anonymize your data within 15 business days.
E. Children’s Privacy
Our App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13 (or 16 in certain jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we discover that we have inadvertently collected personal data from a child, we will take immediate steps to delete that information from our servers.
F. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the “Last Updated” date at the top. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.

2. Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the EzSleep mobile application (the “App”), provided by (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
A. Agreement to Terms
By using the App, you represent that you are at least of legal age to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the App.
B. Health and Medical Disclaimer (Important)
- Not a Medical Device: EzSleep is designed to be a tool to help you track, analyze, and improve your sleep habits. EzSleep is not a medical device, is not cleared by any medical authority, and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any sleep disorder, disease, or medical condition (such as sleep apnea or insomnia).
- Consult Your Doctor: The sleep insights, tips, and reports provided by EzSleep are for informational and educational purposes only. They do not constitute professional medical advice. Always consult with a qualified physician or healthcare provider regarding any health concerns or medical decisions.
C. User Accounts and Security
- To access certain premium features of EzSleep, you may be required to register an account.
- You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to keep your account credentials secure.
- You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account. If you suspect any unauthorized use of your account, you must notify us immediately.
D. Subscriptions and Purchases
- In-App Purchases: EzSleep may offer premium features on a subscription basis (“Premium Subscription”) or as a one-time purchase.
- Billing and Auto-Renewal: If you purchase a Premium Subscription, payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Cancellation: You can manage and cancel your subscriptions in your App Store Account Settings after purchase.
E. User Conduct and Restrictions
You agree that you will not:
- Use the App for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
- Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or damage the operation of the App or its underlying servers.
- Modify, copy, distribute, transmit, decompile, or reverse-engineer any part of the App without our prior written consent.
F. Intellectual Property Rights
All content, features, and functionality of the App (including but not limited to text, audio files, sleep sounds, white noise, graphics, logos, and software code) are the exclusive property of Alex Hua or its licensors and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
G. Limitation of Liability
The App is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the App.
H. Governing Law
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or related to them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of United States and China, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
